Auctori is an easy-to-use content management system developed by our team of highly-skilled, senior-level programmers. Our team recently got the chance to learn more about the behind-the-scenes of how Auctori works from Kevin, one of our senior-level developers, as part of our ongoing tech series. Right off the bat, we learned that Auctori was designed with three key factors in mind:
A comprehensive security model – custom roles can be assigned within Auctori, and the client can grant different permissions to the users, from minimal permissions to full access. Along with keeping the site safe on the user end, Auctori sites are not as susceptible to hacking by injection.
A high level of performance – built in .NET, Auctori has a lot of capabilities and can perform many functions with its custom modules. Most pages don’t require data from a database because they’re served as static content which speeds up the site and adds another level of security.
SEO friendly – SEO content fields are easily editable to add helpful content, like meta tags, to pages for search engines to crawl. Users can control directories and site structure to allow for more straightforward navigation, and support multiple languages and SEO best practices.
